viper2097
Hey devs, please consider a little detail: Its an unwritten law how the switches behave in DCS: Right click -> Switch forward / up / clockwise Left click -> Switch backwards / down / counter-clockwise Most of modules, especially new released modules respect this and are working like this. You have it now upside-down in your module. Maybe you could think about to get in line with other modules. Would be a big help if this is constant in all DCS modules, thank you . Jonne
Its not an unwritten law and the MiG-21 actually works quite different (as an example). Actually I do prefer this over the described behaviour as used in the F-14. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Pikey
I think it's a written soft rule, because it's been spoken about in several threads over the years and the consensus is on this detail and amazingly, my mouse is competely trained to use this and certian Jeff buttons I always click the wrong way. Good post. Please make it so! ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
roxmate
Just leave it as it is, does not make any sense whatsoever the other way around.
viper2097
Its not an unwritten law and the MiG-21 actually works quite different (as an example). Mig-21 is, unfortuantely, one of the negative examples. But also an old module. F-14, F-16 & F-18 are actual and good examples. Just leave it as it is, does not make any sense whatsoever the other way around. Why should it make no sence? I think its important to have that in a consistently way to interact with every module blindfolded. MIlleratic
Thanks for pointing this out. It's muscle memory now and was wondering why I was turning switches the wrong way so many times.
