VFAT 2007 Preliminary Registration Thread

Again I have to sadly report....

The Nuts display is cancelled. We had great plans to make a very interesting show...though =RvE=--AS-- and I couldn't find the time needed to prepare and to put all the maneuvers together in a nice display. The last few weeks were very hectic.

Never the less, we will keep on training and make the 2 ship airshow. In the beginning of next year we will perform our show combined with the delayed White Ravens 9 ship display on the WR server.

The Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams

This year, over 10.000 people will be able to join our:

LIVE Video Stream.

As a backup system we will use VLC software.

About the event

The Virtual Festival of Aerobatic Teams is something like RIAT or MAKS: a big airshow where multiple virtual aerobatic teams perform their display and show their skills to the international flight simulation community. It is the only virtual airshow (based on Lock ON) where more than one aerobatic team shows their display.

This year, spectators from the whole flight simulation community aswell as real aviation relatives like the Blue Angels, Virtual Thunderbirds, Breitling Jet Team and Patrouille Suisse will be able to watch some of the best known and most talented Lock ON: FC-Aerobatic Teams through our Live Video Stream.

As you can see in the Time Schedule, we need to switch mods/servers/ventrilo/teamspeak multiple times during the weekend.

JaBoG 32 (European server)

It is too late to change the time schedule though, it has been copied to too many sites & forums. I guess we will have to improvise a bit at sunday.

After the Swifts, the teams will have to start one hour later as planned.

Last weekend we tried different formats but 800x600 seems to be the best choice between quality and speed...if there was a way to stream in multiple qualities, we would certainly have done that.

Live Stream is up, for the time with pause screen (VFAT banner) and some music.

At 20:00 GMT the show will start with Breitling Jet Team and their L-39s.

We are very afflicted, that could not see performance of our friends (pilots of Ukrainian Falcons) on-line. The streams did not work. As spectators we was kicked. But we are assured, that guys have acted well. It was their first flight at such festival. From all squad Ukrainian Virtual Air Force I congratulate our Falcons with this event :thumbup:!!!

Unfortunately the stream never worked for me. Tried different browsers and video players but the stream didn't start. (6 Mbit Download)

When i go to replay streaming on Friday it only shows VBA and Saturday VTB. No offence to the teams but id like to see the other teams and solos too!:D
