nomdeplume Posted April 15, 2011 Share Posted April 15, 2011 The first player waypoint defines what state the player's jet will be in at the start of the mission. You have three options: 'takeoff from ramp' will start you parked on the ramp with all systems off; 'takeoff from runway' will start you on the runway with all systems running. Or, you can change it to be a 'turning point' and you'll start off airborne at the speed and altitude specified for that waypoint. I don't think you can change the nature of your waypoints using the mission planner, but maybe you can. If not, you'd have to open the mission in the editor, find the player flight, and change the first waypoint to a runway start. Just beware that some missions may incorporate the time it takes to start the jet and taxi in the mission, so the timing might be a bit disturbed if you change them to runway starts. Most missions base events on when you get airborne or reach a particular area, so normally it's not a problem. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
