two monitor set up help please

hi all i have tried to do this myself i only met fail my set up.

center main 27inch 2560x1440

left 22inch 1680x1050

2xgtx480 sli latest drivers set to extend via windows.

would someone mind showing me how to edit my lua files correctly really want this to work thanks in advance.

I find multi monitors with BS difficult. It needs windowed mode. I gave up with the idea and stick to a 27" Dell.

thank you for the reply im missing something basic i cant even get anything at all on my sec monitor,most of the posts i have read on the subject are by guys who were half way there im not the best at editing files though kind of need some help from the beginning.

I am no expert but I think I know where your problem lies.

You have your second monitor on the left, which is fine for windows. It is not, however, fine for DCS. The program insists that the upper left corner of your main display be 0,0. Therefore, as far as the sim is concerned, nothing exists to the left.

I actually have the same setup (even the screen size and res). I wanted my second screen on the left as well but...you know...

I moved it to the bottom in Windows. Now the left side of each monitor is at x=0 and the top left corner of my 22" is at 0,1440. I have my MFDs shoved into the top left and right corners of my 22".

The downside is getting used to having it there in Windows all the time or moving it each time you want to fire up DCS. I leave mine there but the Taskbar is a pain in the ass to grab and I don't like it on the side so I live with it.

Here is what is in my lua file. Edit: This is in DCS A-10 so hopefully the same holds true for BS.

yeah man one of the best things i have purchased thus far, and would love another one maybe when the price drops lol.

If you guys figure out the nvg issues with dual mon, please update!!
