kontiuka Posted October 15, 2013 Share Posted October 15, 2013 I noticed that my wingman, with skill set to excellent, will not attack air defence targets or convoys protected with air defence if he is only armed with guns. Only after I've destroyed the air defence will he go in with guns blazing. If he is armed with rockets or bombs, all is good. This probably needs tweaking. kontiuka Posted October 16, 2013 Author Share Posted October 16, 2013 I just believe that a skilled and aggressive pilot would use whatever means at his disposal to accomplish the mission - within reason. If a convoy is protected by light AAA, I think it's reasonable for a highly skilled pilot to try to take it out even if all he had was guns. ShuRugal Posted October 16, 2013 Share Posted October 16, 2013 rockets are currently practically useless in DCS because the damage is not correctly simulated. Bombs suffer the same problem.
