How to use modman?

Ya, no problem.

First, chose your lockon's destination path so that it will install the mods in the correct place.

Then, download mods, place them on your desktop or where ever. Then, in modman, go to "addon manager" and click the button "add addon to list" chose the addon. (It can be an .rar file or even a .zip file. The .zip is most common) it will now appear in the list. click it, and then click install in the upper right corner. and your done. if you ever want to un install, you can click "uninstall" too. BTW, install mods have a green box next to them. uninstalled ones have a red mox next to them. yellow means they are half and half. (some files installed, others not.)

sometimes, mods need to be installed with out .cdds textures. If this is the case, uncheck the box next to ".cdds textures" and ignore the warning. just rember to check it again when you are dun, becasue some other mods need it. (the mod should say if you need to install without .cdds.)

I hope tht helps. PM me if you have questions. it can get confusing.

The thing that trips a lot of folks new to using Modman is that Modman expects the Mods to be left in a zipped format (.zip or .rar). It will automatically do the unzipping for you. Some folks mess up by unzipping.

Also be aware that there are one or two Mods out there that are zips within zips, so you have to unzip the "outer" layer yourself, then work from there.
