Different settings for different planes would be very welcome... regarding the AFM/non-AFM issue.

Seriously ...

Is it possible that this point is somehow related to the above:

"Implemented new joystick profile system. Now player can use several joysticks of same type and name. Each joystick instance have a unique configuration file."

If not, what does this mean? Does anyone actually use 2 or more of the same joystick in-game? I don't understand what they're talking about here.

I would imagine that you can map the same stick to different configs. For instance to fly the Su25(T) ED recommends not having any curve in your joystick config. With the other planes this is too touchy, so you'd add curve and maybe deadzone. I do this with my CH Manager, but it's nice that they are doing this for those that don't have the flexibility.

To me it sounds like you can have several joysticks and rudders and so on... It might be a language problem though..

For reference, I already use 2 sets of joysticks in FC 1.11 simultaneously.

I use the throttle from my X-36, and the stick from my X-52 Saitek.

Reason being that I hate the twist stick rudder on the X-52, and want to continue to use the rocker on the X-36 throttle control for rudder. But the X-52 stick is smoother than my X-36 stick (pots getting old on the X-36) which is more precise for formation flying.

Only trick was to assign all buttons and axes to an in game function. Otherwise it seems to freeze up the axes after 5 mins of flight. (Thanks to whoever posted that tip in a different thread).

So after all that, I'm not sure what 1.12 joystick stuff is either - lol!!

No apparently not - in fact apparently Su-33s dont have flaps. The have 'Flaperons' whatever they are.

A combination of flaps and ailerons ... you'll notice on the mig the flap and aileron surfaces are distinct - aileron motion doesn't affect flap position, and they're physically two differenct pieces of the wing.

Flaperons combine the two surfaces into one.

Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D

I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
