walmis
This pack contains: AIM-120C AIM-7M 9M38M1 (SA-11 BUK, Replaces old flanker leftover) R-77 The package is loman compatible. Fully autmatic. I stress tested the r-77. It's seems there are no fps difference between loaded vs. unloaded mig-29's. Enjoy Update V2.11 (2006.10.25) Link: http://www.ofp-sgc.com/LOFiles/dl/walmisWeapons_v2.11.rar Fixed aim-7 Bug
Mustang
S! Excellent work! BUT i have noticed one little bug with the R-77, there seems to be an LOD transition issue, i've attached a screenshot of it, along with some other beauty shots. **EDIT** : disregard my bug posts, they have been well and truly fixed since! :)

Mustang
Hmmm, redownloaded the newer version but now the 77 seems a little more messed up, can you or anyone else verify? **EDIT** Again, ignore this post, bugs fixed LOL

TekaTeka
Very nice, Walmis. I have a few suggestions. Modman can place .exe files wherever you want (say LockOn root folder) and run them in the installation/uninstallation process. If you can make new updatecfg.exe without the path pointing, the installation process can be fully automatic. And, if you can make another .exe file which removes the added line from graphics.cfg, automatic and clean uninstallation can be possible, too. Do you think you can make those .exe files? If you do, I can package them.:) TekaTeka from Japan [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Visit my site Beyond Visual Range.

Pilotasso
Yes , theres no LOD issue as it apeared to have but the R-77 has its body texture aparently missing or corrupt. The missile only shows the potato mashers and litle more. The white texture is not visible. see pics. Is it in the right format? The other missiles are OK. Pilotasso
Still the same. Whatever different treatment your giving to the R-77 is what may be causing the issue. The other missiles are a OK [sigpic]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic4448_29.gif[/sigpic] My PC specs below:Case: Corsair 400C PSU: SEASONIC SS-760XP2 760W Platinum CPU: AMD RYZEN 3900X (12C/24T) RAM: 32 GB 4266Mhz (two 2x8 kits) of trident Z RGB @3600Mhz CL 14 CR=1T MOBO: ASUS CROSSHAIR HERO VI AM4 GFX: GTX 1080Ti MSI Gaming X Cooler: NXZT Kraken X62 280mm AIO Storage: Samsung 960 EVO 1TB M.2+6GB WD 6Gb red HOTAS: Thrustmaster Warthog + CH pro pedals Monitor: Gigabyte AORUS AD27QD Freesync HDR400 1440P
MiGMadness
Quick suggestion (and without making myself looking like a complete nub if you already know this ;)). Would this help solve the problem? Found it on this model guide here. http://lockon.co.uk/index.php?end_pos=545&scr=default〈=en Is you used any non standard Max material? LOM isn't support multitexture and composite materials.Working with materials in 3DS Max: Only Standard materials can be used in Lock On; all Multi/Sub objects have no function in Lock-On. Here are some suggestions when using Specular Level and Glossiness. Values of 30 and 40 will be painted like metal. An Ambient value of 150 it will look like colorless metal. Note that these values are different for various materials. There is a four main groups of materials, each with different values of Specular Level and Glossiness:100 and 100 - glass 30 and 40 - colorless metal 50 and 40 - steel 20 and 20 - rubberMaterials should be uniquely named with the name of the model within the material name. Because all materials in Lock On are stored in one place, each material name must be unique or such material with non-unique name might be mistakenly applied by a LO engine to a wrong model. After applying a texture to a model, you may notice that some parts look unnatural. This may happen when using very flat or very glossy parts. In such a situation, it's best to detach these parts from the main model and create cloned textures with different Specular Level and Glossiness levels. For example: 5 and 10 for a missile nozzle. Anyways.... great work my friend.

The other missiles are a OK http://www.ofp-sgc.com/LOFiles/Desktop.rar try these two textures, place to /temptextures folder, one at a time. and when placing the second one rename .dds2 to .dds Hope this will work And btw, does it work in encyclopedia? MiGMadness
errrmm.... It works ok for me. Downloaded from the first link. Extracted to desktop and moved files by hand, ran update.cfg (said that cfg was already updated). Sweet work. EDIT: can confirm (with a test track) that R-77 bug is squashed. :D Good stuff :)

Cosmonaut
Here’s a screen shot of what I’m seeing; Note; the first download worked for me when zoomed in however when I zoomed out from the missile "a little" then it looked like the screen shot above. With the download available in this thread the 77 looks like it does in the screen shot all the time whether zoomed in or not. Cozmo. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Minimum effort, maximum satisfaction. Pilotasso
Ok heres the results from the textures you sent me walmis. Both produced the exact same result: 1) they showed up allright but they are untreated visualy by the games lighting engine. 2) No shadows cast on them 3) no more motor burn texture effect In the pics: 1) the missiles are dark on underside unlike the r-73 2)Missile looks very bright and white, and no shadows like the R-73 standing next to it. 3) No burned motor texture efect. Pilotasso
Same result as before. No shadows. But I found something else. Theres a bunch of other stock Lockon missile models wich wont show shadows on them either. All r-27/73 will have the wing shadow cast on them but r-77 wont just as the AIM-7 AIM-9, AMRAAM and maverick wont. Also look at Mustangs pics under the wing of the F-15. No wing shadows cast on any of these missiles.
