Virus? in F-15 updater?

Possibly you got that exe infected from another file wich originaly contained the virus.

CPU: AMD RYZEN 3900X (12C/24T)

RAM: 32 GB 4266Mhz (two 2x8 kits) of trident Z RGB @3600Mhz CL 14 CR=1T

MOBO: ASUS CROSSHAIR HERO VI AM4

GFX: GTX 1080Ti MSI Gaming X

Cooler: NXZT Kraken X62 280mm AIO

Storage: Samsung 960 EVO 1TB M.2+6GB WD 6Gb red

HOTAS: Thrustmaster Warthog + CH pro pedals

Monitor: Gigabyte AORUS AD27QD Freesync HDR400 1440P

yea this has been brought up before, i just did a scan with kaspersky on the F-15 updater and it actually detected it as a virus...lol go figure. Maybe its a false positive or walmis actually turns out to be an evil mastermind :smartass:

Edit: damn it looks like my antivirus just deleted the update, now i can't update anymore haha. When i tried downloading the file again from lockonfiles, it deleted that one too. Looks like i gotta wiggle my way around to put the updater/virus back into my lock on folder.

Mine antivirus says its OK. It always been.

 

...and I trust my bitdefender more ;)
