csevers
Hello, I recently upgraded my video card and Lockon 1.1 ran once fine. I then went to run it again and now every time I go to fly, either quick start or missions, it goes to the loading screen and loads all the way then restarts my computer. I poked around a bit and found a errors.log and Error.log, the contents of both files are below. I completely uninstalled LockOn 1.1 and 1.0, then reinstalled LockOn 1.0 and it ran fine. I then installed 1.1 on top of it and it restarts the computer every time I try to fly. I would appreciate help with this as I am completely unable to play. The last time I tried to run the game was 5/13/05 at 15:50, this is when the logs are from. errors.log ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5/13/2005 15:50 Command Line : ActionProcessor::Reinitialize ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Error.log ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 5/13/2005 15:50 V502031740 TrackIR DLL path: C:\Program Files\Naturalpoint\TrackIR4\ NPClient interface -- initialize OK NPClient : Window handle registration successful NPClient : NaturalPoint software version is 4.00 NPClient : Data transmission started TrackIR DLL path: C:\Program Files\Naturalpoint\TrackIR4\ NPClient interface -- initialize OK NPClient : Window handle registration successful NPClient : NaturalPoint software version is 4.00 NPClient : Data transmission started Dispatcher: track version = 502031740 Dispatcher: initial random seed = 4656796 Dispatcher: apply random seed = 4656796 Cosmos: Mission date assigned - Year:2004, Month:6, Day:22 DXDefTexture: failed to load knopki.tga, D3DXERR_INVALIDDATA. mkrochmaln
I have the same problem with my nividia card. I believe it has to do with the new drivers. In display options, setting the haze from advanced to basic, lets me run the game. Matt
kaiserb_uk
I can confirm same problem with 71.89 (latest nVidia official) drivers. Will update when I find a driver version which allows advanced haze....
kaiserb_uk
I've installed the 76.45 whql drivers and it's working great now, with advanced haze. I'm using a 6800GT. You can find the drivers here: http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=1062

KILSEK
Hi all. You have to love that search function. This exact problem is causing me all kinds of heartache and grief LOL. Well, I have never been one to use anything other than official stuff, so I guess to get some joy joy from my BRAND SPANKING NEW BFG 6800 GT OC I will remove the 71.89's and go to the 71.84's. I just upgraded from a GF4 TI 4600 and upped my 350w power supply to a 480w. So enough talk, time to remove and try the 71.84's, and you just know I'll be back to post some screens let you folks know how its' going. Gotta love that search function!!! -KILSEK
